Sheradon wishes she would have let the call go to voicemail

CHICAGO, IL — April Sheradon was taken completely by surprise Thursday night when she received a call on her cell phone from a guy she had hooked up with a week earlier.

“I didn’t recognize the number so I thought it must be something to do with work,” said the visibly shaken 27 year old paralegal. “But it wasn’t work. It was this guy I hooked up with last week.”

“Who the hell does that?!” asked the baffled victim to no one in particular.

Sheradon received the unsolicited phone call at 8:43PM while she was lying in bed watching Netflix on her laptop. The call lasted 13 hellish minutes.

“He called to ask me out this weekend. I said ‘yes’ because I thought it would end the phone call, but then he just wanted to chat,” recounts the shellshocked Sheradon.

“It was awful. I had to pause House of Cards.”

The phone call was made without any prior attempts at standard communication. Sheradon received no text messages, Facebook messages, instagram mentions, or Snapchats before answering the unexpected phone call.

“Sure, I gave him my phone number, but I never thought he would call me. He must be really clingy or socially awkward or something,” concluded Sheradon.

Sheradon is expected to make a full recovery, but says that she will be more selective in the future with whom she gives her number.

Thought Potato tried to e-mail the man for a comment, but he replied that he prefers to answer questions via phone. Given those circumstances, we will obviously not be able to get a statement from him.
